The cosmetic industry has come a long way when it comes to its non-surgical body tightening and contouring treatments. Sub-dermal radiofrequency (RF) technology in particular has proven extremely effective in tightening, smoothing out, and improving the skin’s overall appearance. Which is why we’re really excited about the next generation RF technology that has the capability to not only tighten soft skin tissue but also to reshape and contour pretty much any area of the face and body that you might find could use a little extra added definition.

FaceTite, BodyTite & AccuTite In a Nutshell

What is it?

FaceTiteBodyTite & AccuTite are a series of treatments that use subdermal radiofrequency (RF) technology in order to tighten lax or sagging skin, eliminate small pockets of stubborn fat, and stimulate collagen production on most areas of the face and body.

Who is it for?

Anyone looking to:

  • address sagging skin in areas of the face such as the cheeks, jowls, chin, and neck
  • tighten the skin on various parts of the body such as the abdomen, thighs, upper arms, back, and breasts
  • eliminate small pockets of unwanted fat resistant to diet and exercise
  • smooth out and improve the appearance in areas such as the nasolabial folds, smile lines, eyelids, brows, and jawline
  • improve the overall appearance of the skin
  • stimulate collagen production
  • reshape and contour areas of the face and body

How It Works

FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite are face and body tightening treatments that use sub-dermal radiofrequency (RF) heat energy in order to tighten and firm up sagging skin as well as stimulate the production of collagen. All three treatments are part of a second generation RF technology that can penetrate the skin at a deeper level than traditional RF technologies. The differences in the three treatments lie in what areas they target.

FaceTite is a facial rejuvenation treatment that addresses areas on the face that are more likely to sag or become lax over time, like the cheeks, jowls, chin, and neck.

BodyTite is meant to cover a larger surface area, and is great at treating a number of areas of the body like the abdomen, thighs, the upper arms, the back and even the breasts.

AccuTite because it’s the smallest device is amazing at targeting smaller areas like the nasolabial folds, smile lines, eyelids, brows, and jawline.

All three treatments do a number of things. By heating the deep layers below the surface of the skin at a high temperature they have the capability to destroy fat cells, which are later metabolized by the body. In some cases, the treatments can also be combined with liposuction with a procedure called RFAL radiofrequency-assisted  liposuction, this is usually more frequently combined with BodyTite if an individual is looking to remove larger pockets of unwanted fat.

The RF heat contracts collagen fibres which is what makes your skin tighter and firmer, while at the same time stimulating a wound healing response that kick starts the production of new collagen, which is essentially what maintains your result over a long period of time. With all of these treatments you’ll see a 70% reduction in tissue and improvement in the tightness of your skin. This can be further improved with a series of Morpheus8 treatments.

The Procedure

All three treatments are performed in similar ways only targeting different areas of the face or body. No matter which treatment you’re getting we’ll first start by administering a local anesthetic so that you feel totally comfortable during your treatments.

With AccuTite a cannula will be inserted just below the surface of the skin from which radiofrequency heat will radiate. FaceTite is similar but because it’s typically a larger area that we’re addressing as opposed to Accutite, your doctor will make a tiny incision (super tiny, no stitching or scarring that you need to worry about) and insert a cannula or very thin probe just below the surface of the skin.

During your BodyTite treatment we’ll also numb the area to be treated with local anesthetic. Your doctor will make a small incision and insert the radiofrequency probe, but unlike with the other two treatments, with BodyTite there will also be a second probe that your doctor will glide along the outer surface of the skin.

With all three treatments the heat coming from the RF probe will eliminate unwanted fat cells, contract existing collagen fibres, and stimulate the production of new collagen.

AccuTite usually takes only around 20 minutes and FaceTite takes about one hour. BodyTite can take anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on how many areas you’re treating.

Is FaceTite, BodyTite or AccuTite for you?

These treatments are really effective for the right candidates. The idea is to target mild skin laxity on different areas of the body without having to intervene surgically. The results are amazing but they’re not dramatic in the same way that surgical results might be. For some these treatments are a way of staving off surgery, or are great for anyone who doesn’t require surgery or isn’t interested in having a surgical intervention.

So we find that with FaceTite and AccuTite, that even individuals as young as 30 years may benefit from the treatment, and there’s truly no upper age limit. It’s generally a great treatment for anyone with mild skin laxity on the face who still has good skin elasticity and bone structure.

With BodyTite you’re someone who is pretty much at their goal weight but you have mild skin laxity and stubborn pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise, but you are in good shape and good health overall.

When you come to MD Beauty Clinic for your complimentary consultation, we can discuss all three treatments with you and come up with an individualized treatment plan that will give you the results that you’re looking to achieve.

Who should not have FaceTite, BodyTite & AccuTite?

You should not have these treatments if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you have a specific autoimmune disorder that could affect healing.

When can I expect to see results?

With FaceTite and AccuTite you’ll be able to see a visible improvement once any bruising or swelling has subsided, so as early as a week following your treatment. That said you’ll see optimal results after about 2-4 months when the collagen in your body has had time to build itself up, and your results will continue to improve for up to a year following your procedure.

With BodyTite you can also expect to see results right away, but again, because this is primarily a collagen building treatment, optimal results will appear around 4 months following treatment and will continue to improve for up to a year after your procedure. You need to give your body time to build up its collagen production as well as naturally eliminate any targeted fat.

Will I need more than one treatment?

The technology behind FaceTite, BodyTite, AccuTite is such that you’ll typically only need one treatment and your results will last anywhere from 1-5 years.

Is there any downtime?

Although FaceTite, BodyTite, and AccuTite are minimally invasive treatments you will need to account for some downtime, though nothing comparable to recovery following a surgery.

For FaceTite and AccuTite you’ll have to give yourself approximately 4 to 5 days of downtime (a little less with AccuTite), primarily because you may have quite a bit of bruising and swelling, which will improve after a week but can last for up to two weeks for some. You’ll also have to keep away from vigorous forms of exercise for a week after your treatment. Once the week is up though you can pretty much go back to your daily routine.

With BodyTite you can expect some bruising, swelling, redness, tenderness, soreness and possibly numbness after your treatment. You’ll have to stay away from any exercise for about 1-2 weeks, after which you can do low impact workouts, but no high impact workouts for 6 weeks.

More Testimonials

I have been attending for close to 10 years now. I started with the M10 skincare and peels and eventually grew into needing/wanting some Botox injections. Everything you need in one spot. I’m a mom and a woman in finance, so my schedule is brutal. I love that I don’t have a preference for one nurse - all of them are super capable and professional. I’m happy to get in with whoever, whenever. I can’t recommend this clinic enough to my friends and family.”
