Our co-medical directors Dr. Chbat and Dr. Goyal often get asked what areas of the face can be treated with Botox and other neuromodulators like Dysport, Xeomin, and Nuceiva. So they thought it might be helpful to show Dr. Goyal’s Botox treatment in action.

Neuromodulators basically relax the muscles in the face preventing them from creating a permanent imprint of fine lines and wrinkles in various areas, like around the eyes (typically referred to as crow’s feet) or on the forehead. That said, neuromodulators like Botox can be used for so many other indications from creating a brow or eyelift to treating recurring migraines.

The key, though, is the expertise of your injector. You can pretty much get Botox anywhere these days, but the face is not an area you want just anyone to poke at. You want someone with a lot of training, experience, and excellent knowledge of the facial anatomy.

Dr. Goyal had a variety of areas that she wanted to target. Watch the video to see how. Dr. Chbat injects the elevens to open up the eyes in order to make you look more awake and refreshed. He also target’s the crow’s feet in a way that keeps that natural subtle crinkle when you smile, but still keeps it looking youthful.

You really want to avoid the frozen look. You want to prevent deep lines, but you still want to be able to move your face.

Dr. Chbat also targets Dr. Goyal’s bunny lines, the jawline to prevent teeth grinding and clenching, as well as the forehead. And he also does a little something different that you might not see super often. He injects a muscle that pulls down on the tip of the nose in order to create a mini nose lift. Pretty cool!

Although not featured in the video, other things you can do with neuromodulators is relax muscles to help reduce frowning, prevent or soften nasal flaring, improve a gummy smile, sharpen your jawline, prevent neck bands or create a neck lift, slim down the neck and shoulders, and so much more.
