PicoWay Resolve uses picosecond technology in order to target skin imperfections and pigmented lesions. A picosecond is a super-fast trillionth of a second. Picoway Resolve emits energy that reaches below the surface of the skin in extremely short pulses (picoseconds). These pulses break apart unwanted dark spots into tiny particles.

Patients will experience mild redness in the area immediately following treatment. This redness can last anywhere from 8 to 36 hours. Some patients might also experience some mild swelling and itchiness, which should resolve itself soon after treatment and can also be treated with antihistamines or a topical hydrocortisone.
