We often forget about the rest of our body when it comes to things like aging, acne, hyper-pigmentation and dullness. We associate these issues with the face alone, but the rest of our body can also benefit from a little TLC; think hands, neck, décolleté…and even the bum.
Choose from a wide range of Miracle 10 luxurious body peel treatments that will revitalize your skin and reveal smooth, supple, and youthful skin on areas of the body that are so often forgotten and neglected.
BOOK AN APPOINTMENTPeel treatments for the body are similar to our Miracle 10 facial peel treatments. The treatment takes about 45 minutes and is very relaxing.
The treatment begins with mechanical exfoliation, gently removing dead and dry skin, and offering the skin an overall deep cleanse. Depending on your skin type, this is followed by a lactic, glycolic, or salicylic acid peel. The treatment is specifically customized to the area of the body that’s being treated and to each individual’s skin type and concerns.
Following the peel we’ll typically apply a soothing clay mask, and a variety of other products, depending on what area of the body is being treated, and what the skin concerns may be.
We offer Miracle 10 body treatments for the décolleté, half and/or full arm, neck and/or hands, upper or full back, and the bum. Peel treatments for the bum are effective in addressing skin concerns such as discolouration, congested skin, uneven skin tone, pimples and bumps, as well as keratosis pilaris. The acid used for your bum peel treatment will be determined by your provider.
There is no downtime following a Miracle 10 body peel treatment. For a light or medium chemical peel you might experience mild side effects such as redness and stinging that should resolve themselves very soon after treatment.
You should avoid having a chemical peel treatment if you have been taking Acutane within the last 12 months, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you have any open wounds in the treatment area, if you have any infections, or if you have atopic dermatitis and psoriasis.
You should also avoid having a chemical peel treatment if you scar easily, if you’ve been significantly exposed to the sun or had a sunburn in the two days prior, if you have recently undergone radiation for cancer treatment, or if you have had any kind of surgery, IPL or laser treatment in the area of the peel treatment a month prior.
This place has been my skin's savior! Ever since I started attending, I regularly receive compliments on my skin, and I am always asked about the skincare products I use (I use Miracle 10 !!). The nurse injectors are also amazing at what they do.”
