The Procedure

Your appointment will start with a brief exploration of your goals and an opportunity to ask questions. A typical JetPeel treatment involves a 4-step process. First, your provider will use the device to cleanse and massage the skin. Afterwards, they’ll exfoliate the skin to prepare it for infusion. Depending on your concern, a serum will be infused into the freshly prepped skin for hydration, radiance, or decongestion, to name a few. The final step includes the application of skincare to layer up the impact.

No numbing is required, as JetPeel doesn’t use heat or micro-injury to operate, so it’s naturally painless. The treatment takes up to 1 hour to cover the entire face or neck. Once complete, you can continue with your daily activities.

JetPeel accommodates patients who have sensitive skin and are hesitant to try chemical peels or microneedling facials. It penetrates the skin’s surface for a more effective and timely application of key ingredients. It’s also ideal for stacking treatments; since it has minimal contraindications, JetPeel can be followed up with neurotoxin or filler. We do advise that you cease the use of retinols and other ingredients that make skin more reactive at least 3 days prior to treatment.

Who should not have JetPeel

Since JetPeel is non-invasive, it’s safe for use on all skin types. However, JetPeel is not intended for use on active skin infections (bacterial, fungal, or viral), open wounds, or patients who are pregnant and/or breastfeeding. There are contraindications for lymphatic drainage, and patients who have specific medical conditions should not undergo this treatment. During your consultation, a discussion of your medical history will be reviewed to determine if this treatment is ideal for you.

Is there any downtime?

While JetPeel doesn’t require a “recovery period,” we advise that you hold off on more invasive treatments like microneedling and IPL until about 3 weeks after the facial. As far as continuing your regularly scheduled programming, you’re free to resume as soon as your appointment is complete.

Will I need more than one treatment?

JetPeel is a ‘maintenance’ type of treatment that can be done as many times as you’d like. If you want to continue to experience its benefits, we recommend coming in on a monthly basis. Although results are seen immediately, the most remarkable change can be seen after 3-6 JetPeel treatments.
