We always love to show off a perfect lip filler treatment, and this before and after photo of Nurse Sue’s patient is one for the books. Who would not want those luscious lips?!

This before and after picture is about so much more than just a simple lip augmentation. It’s about the experience and deep knowledge and, let’s put it out there, true artistry of the injector.

We say this because there’s a whole combination of things going on in this before and after image. It’s not only about Nurse Sue knowing where and how to inject the lips, but she also listened to her patient’s goals, assessed the anatomy of her lips, and knew which product would give her the best result.

There are a number of great dermal fillers out there that are effective in plumping up those lips, but for this particular patient, Nurse Sue chose to use 1 full syringe of Belotero Lips. Why Belotero and not another product?

This patient was looking for volume and a balanced upper lip, and Nurse Sue loves how Belotero integrates seamlessly into the tissue, meaning no lumps or bumps and always a very natural look. And if you are a regular patient of ours then you know that super subtle transformations are our bread and butter.

What is Belotero lip filler?

Belotero is actually a pretty unique dermal filler. It’s hyaluronic acid (HA) based like the majority of dermal fillers, but its consistency is that little bit different. It’s soft and gel like, as well as lighter and thinner, and therefore spreads more easily to avoid those potential lumps and bumps Nurse Sue mentioned.

The HA in the Belotero also binds with the moisture in your skin and is therefore super effective in really filling in those fine lines. For the lips in particular it’s very effective at adding that extra definition to the border of the lips which you can really see in our beautiful patient’s before and after photo.

Choosing the right lip filler provider

We can’t stress enough that if you want a gorgeous result like the one you see here, choosing an experienced provider is key. There is no one size fits all with any treatment, whether you’re getting Botox, lip filler, or something else.

We’re all different, meaning we have unique anatomies, and so an individualized and tailored treatment approach is really the only way to achieve the desired result. And an experienced injector is going to know which product and how much of it is going to create the luscious pout we see in this patient.

How long does Belotero lip filler last?

As you can see, this patient also had virtually no downtime. She can expect her results to last anywhere from 6-12 months with Belotero like most other HA based dermal fillers.
